Welcome to the 11th Anniversary Season of Bel Canto Alaska! Our classically trained singers once again have planned a delightful and diverse 2012-2013 performance series starting with “BEL CANTO AFTER DARK”. Join us in the beautiful Ann Stevens Room of the ZJ Loussac Library as the singers of Bel Canto Alaska, with Freya & James Wardlaw-Bailey entertain with an evening of song, elegant desserts, wines and champagne. The first show of Bel Canto’s 11th season will be remembered not only for the delightful music, but for ambiance beyond compare.

The second show of our season, “BE OUR GUEST!” is our annual fundraiser. Bel Canto Alaska so enjoyed the unique venue at the Alaska Museum of Natural History, we are going back for seconds! You are cordially invited to “be our guest” as the singers of Bel Canto Alaska with resident artists Freya and James Wardlaw-Bailey and other special guest artists present a lively variety show among the artifacts, animals and archaeology of Alaska!! Add our unique silent auction, hors d’oeuvres, and drink – and you have a fabulous afternoon of fun and entertainment of ‘mammoth’ proportions!

And for our final show of the season, Bel Canto Alaska presents: “THE DIVA’S BEQUESTS!”. Join the singers of Bel Canto, Freya & James Wardlaw-Bailey and our guest artist, Tim Fosket as they travel to Mendeltna Creek Lodge for the reading of a will you ‘will’ not soon forget. “It was a dark and stormy night at a rural Alaska lodge. Members of a former musical theatre troupe have gathered to hear the bequests of their past leader and star, Madame Calliope P. d’Todd who had gone on to considerable wealth and fame………..” Find out through delightful music and a hilarious storyline the unusual bequests! For a mere $25.00, you will enjoy hors d’oeuvres, a fantastic dinner with matching cocktail, dessert and the fabulous performers of Bel Canto Alaska! Not only can you enjoy a terrific Saturday evening, but you can reserve a room or cabin and enjoy the groomed hiking trails and many other exclusives – make it a weekend event!
